La Primavera Farms is a third generation farm growing a wide assortment of beautiful cut flowers. Established in 1954, La Primavera Farms started out as a dairy farm and gradually switched into poultry, highland beef, and when the time was right, Juan started into cut flowers. Always a passion, he paid attention to flower trends over the years, and experimented with different varieties until he decided that sunflowers were what he wanted to grow.

Now in our 13th year as sunflower growers, we continue to grow sunflowers for the greater Toronto area. The Farm consists of 300 acres, a poultry farm, a small heritage beef operation, a variety of field crops, and our specialty, 40 acres of cut flowers. Juan and Jane Feddes own the farm, and have proved to be capable of adapting to trends and times. Joanne Feddes, their daughter, manages the quality of the flowers picked and planted, as well as managing a very talented field crew.
